On "The Dan Patrick Show" earlier today, former Duke forward Christian Laettner was in studio with Dan and the Dannettes and during one of the breaks, he shows the boys exactly what went down during that infamous play when he stepped on Kentucky forward Aminu Timberlake.

With the release of the new 30 for 30 on ESPN, I Hate Christian Laettner, Laettner has been making his rounds of appearances in sports media, and Dan and the Dannettes got to speak with the former Duke star today about the special.

We all know of the play, where Grant Hill heaved the ball three quarters of the way down the court and hit Laettner on the money; then Laettner made the most famous shot in college basketball history against the Kentucky Wildcats in the 1992 Final Four.

However, some often forget that Laettner was not the most liked player in the world, and antics such as when he stomped on Aminu Timberlake earlier in the game are reasons why.

While in studio during a commercial break with Dan and the Dannettes, Laettner showed the guys what happened during the most controversial play in one of the greatest college basketball games ever played.
