Crimson Cover Recruiting Analyst Mike Parker Updates Alabama’s Progress in Recruiting [Audio]

As the Alabama Crimson Tide is close to completing spring practice, the process of evaluating and hauling in the 2017 recruiting class is just starting to kick in gear.

Crimson Cover TV recruiting analyst Mike Parker provided an update on Alabama’s wish list for the 2017 signing class on the Gary Harris Show.

Parker touched on a number of top recruits at various positions on Alabama’s radar, but he reserved his highest praise for linebacker VanDarius Cowan of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, who recently switched his commitment from Florida State to Alabama.

“It’s an enormous pick up. This kid can really play. He’s one of the best outside linebackers in the country. He’s the perfect mold for Alabama and the style that they play.” Parker said.

The Crimson Cover TV recruiting analyst later explained that Cowan could have a similar impact in recruiting players to Alabama that current Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett had in the 2015 signing class.
