With a huge right hand it was over. Deontay Wilder had taken Kelvin Price to the mat and laid claim to the WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight title 51 seconds into the 3rd round.

The enormous swing of the hand send the Los Angeles crowd into a roar-just moments after the crowd seemed restless with the fight.  Wilder and Price spent much of the first two rounds exchanging jabs, timing each other out.  While the crowd maintained their patience in the first round, boos started raining down toward the tail end of the 2nd before Wilder brought them to their feet in the third.

With the win Wilder remains undefeated, climbing to 26-0 with all victories coming by way of knockout.  Wilder joined The Game on Thursday and said the WBC Continental title would go a long way in helping him accomplish his dream of becoming the heavyweight champion.
