Jesse Williams was a monster defensive lineman for Alabama, helping the Tide win national championships in 2011 and 2012.  After the 2012 season, the massive Australian who came to Tuscaloosa by way of junior college in Arizona was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks and got to enjoy a ride that included two Super Bowl appearances and one title.  However, injuries have kept him off the field and his time there has been a struggle.

Now, Williams fights an even bigger battle:

All of the Crimson Tide faithful are pulling for Williams to pull through this trial.  The colorful, eccentric and intense defensive lineman was one of the most popular players on those title-winning teams. Hopefully, the surgery allows him to heal fully and be cancer free.
