According to reports, former Alabama guard Trevor Lacey has finished his paperwork to transfer to NC State and play for former Alabama head coach Mark Gottfried.

The sophomore made the decision to leave Tuscaloosa in April and had taken trips to NC State, North Carolina, and Miami in the ACC.

The Huntsville native averaged 11.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg as a starter in 2012-13 and will have to sit out a year before finishing out his eligibility with the Wolfpack.
