It's always a feel good story when someone locally joins the Alabama Crimson Tide football team and becomes an instant star, Wayne Davis was no exception.

The 6'1 linebacker from Gordo, AL still hold the Alabama record of most tackles in a career with 327. He would go on to the NFL and play two seasons with the St Louis/Phoenix Cardinals before going to the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. His son Ben Davis is looking to follow in his father foot steps at the linebacker position for the Crimson Tide this upcoming season.

He joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss how Nick Saban's process helps his son, biggest changes his seen in college football, Sylvester Croom being one of his biggest role model, his sense of pride of the success at Alabama, favorite story from his playing days, and his upcoming youth football camp in Gordo.
