Former Alabama OL Bill Searcey Reflects on the Rivalry with Tenn

A rivalry started in 1901 with a 6-6 tie game, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Tennessee Volunteers have one of the most prestiges rivalries in college football.

Outside of the Iron Bowl against the Auburn Tigers and the new rivalry with Alabama/LSU through the Saban/Les Miles days, the Third Saturday in October is one game the fans circle on their calendar despite the opposing teams record at the time.

Alabama leads the series 55-39-7 and the last time the Volunteers defeated the Crimson Tide was in 2006 with a 16-13 victory.
