Coming out of high school, Dee Hart was a five-star running back prospect with explosive speed.  Alabama fans rejoiced when the former Michigan commit decided to join his teammate and friend Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at Alabama. Unfortunately, Hart suffered a rash of injuries that cost him valuable playing time, falling behind other talented backs like Eddie Lacy, TJ Yeldon and Jalston Fowler.  He left the program shortly before being arrested in February.

However, Dee Hart has found a landing spot that could be the cure for his recent issues.  According to the Orlando SentinelHart will be transferring to Colorado State University.  There, he will play for head coach Jim McElwain, who was Alabama's offensive coordinator from 2008 to 2011.  McElwain helped recruit Hart to Alabama, and that no doubt helped in the decision.  Since Hart has already graduated from Alabama, he will be able to play immediately for the Rams.  However, he is not yet officially on the roster, and his eligibility is yet to be determined.

Hart will be joining a team that has gained a lot of momentum since McElwain arrived.  The Rams finished last season 8-6, and defeated Washington State of the PAC-12 48-45 in a terrific New Mexico Bowl game.  However, Colorado State will be without last season's leading rusher Kapri Bibbs, who is now with the Denver Broncos.  Bibbs had 1,741 yards and 31 touchdowns last season for the Rams.  Hart will surely be one of the leading candidates to replace Bibbs' production.

Dee Hart finished his career at Alabama with 43 carries for 164 yards.
