Former Alabama tight end Miller Forristall has signed a reserve-future deal with the New Orleans Saints.

"New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Wednesday that the club has signed wide receiver Kawaan Baker, linebacker Ryan Connelly, tight end Miller Forristall and kicker Alex Quevedo to reserve/future contracts," said the Saints.

The futures contract lets teams claim players that they are interested in, but do not count against the team's rosters until the start of the NFL's new year. In 2023, the new year starts on March 15 at 3 p.m. CT.

The Ga., native spent five seasons at the Capstone. During his Tide tenure, he appeared in 54 games and recorded 44 receptions for 505 yards and five touchdowns. He also attempted three kick returns for eight yards and has one career tackle (assisted).

The two-time national champion was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2021, however was waived and resigned to the team's practice squad before being waved a second time later in the year.

He did see time on the field in blue and white in the 2021 preseason, recording four receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown in three games.

Forristall was picked up by the Cleveland Browns in Nov. of 2021 and has been back-and-forth from the active roster and practice squad with the organization ever since. He saw time in three preseason games last season, recording three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown, as well as six regular season games with the Browns but did not pick up a reception.

The 24-year old could be a huge help to the struggling Saints offense.
