Hannah Cook, Alabama’s leading scorer from 2015 to 2018, has signed to play professional basketball with Sporting Athens in Athens, Greece.

“I’m so excited to continue my basketball career in Greece,” said Cook. “It’s been a dream of mine to play professionally, and I am grateful for this opportunity. I also want to thank God, my parents and everyone at Alabama for preparing me for this moment. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system.”

Cook, a four-year starter for the Crimson Tide, finished her career ranked in the top 10 in scoring (No. 8 – 1,468), three-point field goals made (No. 4 – 262) and three-point field goals attempted (No. 1 – 781). She scored in double figures 79 times in her four years, nine of which were for 20 or more points. Cook was named to the 2018 Cheryl Miller Award Watch List and also earned most valuable player honors at the 2015 Nugget Classic in Reno, Nevada.
