2:46am - Following a 13-hour filibuster by Sen. Wendy Davis, a Texas abortion bill does not have time to pass.


5:58am - American John Isner withdraws from Wimbledon with an injury.


6:39am - After upsetting Rafael Nadal in the first round, Steve Darcis withdraws from Wimbledon with an injury.


7:00am - Victoria Azarenka, the second-seed in the women's bracket at Wimbledon, withdraws with a knee injury.


7:47am  - Aaron Hernandez arrested at his North Attleboro home in Massachusetts.


8:14am - Marin Cilic withdraws from Wimbledon.


8:18am - Cleveland Browns rookie Ausar Walcott charged with attempted murder.


9:00am - The University of Oregon announces that it has received its report from the NCAA Committee on Infractions.


9:04am - Supreme Court rules on first of two same-sex marriage issues.


9:22 am - The New England Patriots release tight end Aaron Hernandez.

9:22am - Oregon's NCAA sanctions are reported.


9:34am - Supreme Court's second decision comes down.


10:46am - Jo Wilfried Tsonga becomes the latest casualty at Wimbledon after withdrawing after three sets.


11:36am - Maria Sharapova loses in the 2nd round at Wimbledon, making it 7 of the top 13 seeds eliminated on the women's side.


11:37am - Cleveland Browns release Ausar Walcott.


1:44pm - Aaron Hernandez charged with murder.


2:16pm - Despite all of the big stories at Wimbledon, Roger Federer steals the headlines after he is defeated in the 2nd round.


3:06pm - Former South African President Nelson Mandela's health worsens.
