Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa will host the inaugural Great Tailgate BBQ Cook-Off on April 9th in conjunction with the Druid City Arts Festival.

18 teams will compete in various barbecue categories including chicken, pork, and beef brisket. Meats will be judged for "Most Creative" and "Best Overall".

For a suggested donation of $10, guests will receive three tasting tickets to sample three meats of their choice and will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dishes in the "Most Creative" category.

The Great American BBQ Cook-Off benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa will be held on Saturday, April 9th on the edge of Government Plaza at 7th Street and 22nd Avenue. Judging will begin at 12 pm.
