After a quiet season opener against USC, wide receiver Calvin Ridley responded with one of the best performances of his young career.

The sophomore caught nine passes for 129 yards and one touchdown to help Alabama past Western Kentucky. The nine receptions ties a career high set against Arkansas in 2015 while the receiving yards were the third-highest of his career.

Ridley now leads Alabama with 11 catches on the year, but ArDarius Stewart is still the team leader in receiving yards (203).
