Heisman Trophy winner and former Oregon Duck Marcus Mariota met with the media today at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he let everyone know that he's ready to play at the next level.

"Any player will stand in front of you and tell you that they're confident in their abilities, and I'm no different."

Quarterbacks at the NFL must be confident in order to succeed, but with his relatively minute amount of experience with slower pace during football games, can he adjust to the demands of NFL coaches and their gameplans?

"I haven't huddled in a while, so that'll be one thing... It seems like a little detail, but that is kind of a big thing."

His former college coach, Chip Kelly, is now the head coach at the Philadelphia Eagles, so naturally that would seem to be his perfect fit. Mariota is one of the best hurry-up, no huddle quarterbacks college football has ever seen, and while this may seem like a Cinderella story for him to land in Philly, it may not be what's best for him.

"I think for any rookie quarterback, it's going to be an adjustment, stepping up into this new level. I'm going to continue to absorb as much as I can, learn from all the people that i can, and do my best in whatever situation I get into."

While at the University of Oregon, Mariota threw for 103 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions.

The NFL Draft will take place from April 30 to May 2 in Chicago, IL.
