Two key Alabama offensive players injured against Texas A&M aren't expected to be out for long, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said Monday.

Both center Ryan Kelly and running back Kenyan Drake left Saturday's 41-23 victory over the Aggies due to injury, but Saban sounded optimistic about each player returning in time for Tennessee.

"Kenyan Drake will practice today," Saban said. "Ryan Kelly is under concussion protocol. When he's normal, which he's very close, we'll allow him to resume activity. That's not going to be today, unless something changes between now and practice. We feel like he'll be OK. It's not that bad right now. We feel like he'll be OK in a few days, but the medical staff has to make that decision."

Both players went out during the first half of the game, but only Drake, who Saban said had a "thigh bruise" during his postgame press conference Saturday, returned later in the game.

Kelly, who Saban was "feeling woozy" after the game, was replaced by sophomore J.C. Hassenauer at center. Prior to the start of the second half, Saban told CBS sideline reporter that Kelly had sustained a concussion.

Drake carried the ball five times for 11 yards, with two receptions for 0 yards in the win.
