Jake Fromm Looks ahead to Georgia’s 2019 Season

When the Georgia Bulldogs meet toe to leather in Nashville against the Vanderbilt Commodores, Jake Fromm will take the reins for his third season as Georgia's starting signal caller.

Through his first two seasons, Fromm has thrown for over 5,300 yards with 54 touchdowns compared to just 13 interceptions.

Although the Bulldogs have seen a lot of success with Fromm as quarterback, they couldn't close the game in the fourth quarter against Alabama in 2017 and 2018 and have been blown out on the road at Auburn in 2017 and at LSU in 2018.

According to Fromm, playing better in hostile road environments begins with the team's offseason preparation.

"For us, we look at those game where we didn't quite get over the hump in the past and we want to do more this summer. It starts with what we do in the offseason, in the summer. How we prepare, how we condition, how we attack camp when it comes and really taking every single game like it's our last and trying to go 1-0 every single week." Fromm said.

Going into his junior season, Fromm described the progress he has made as a quarterback since his first start as a true freshman in 0217.

"I like to think I'm a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit more experienced, a better decision maker on and off the field. I'd like to say that I can make a lot better throws, can make better throws and really just kind of excel not only as a leader, as a teammate and just try to be a great football player." Fromm said.
