Alabama enters its bye week off a comeback win over Tennessee. There are still some areas that head coach Nick Saban will focus his attention before LSU, but one unit that appears to be hitting its stride is the punt team.

Sophomore punter JK Scott has returned to his freshman form that saw him earn Ray Guy finalist honors, and the Southeastern Conference recognized his efforts against the Vols by awarding him SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.

A year after he averaged 48 yards on 55 punts, Scott has been dealing with some timing issues on his drop. Through the first five games of 2015, Scott had averaged 39.4 yards on 24 punts. But over the past three games, Scott's average has jumped to 49.1 yards on 16 punts.

As you can see in the tweet above, the sophomore helped flip the field in a tight game against Tennessee and earned his first player of the week honors for 2015.
