Julio Jones is a monster.  Despite the Atlanta Falcons losing 43-37 to the Green Bay Packers, Jones put on an absolute show for the crowd at Lambeau Field and the audience for Monday Night Football.  By halftime he had 5 catches for 100 yards.  By the final whistle, he had 11 catches for an astounding 259 yards and a touchdown.  It was night to remember for the former Alabama star.

Jones hit several milestones as part of his performance.  His 259 yards receiving are the most for a player in the franchise history of the Falcons, breaking the record held by teammate Roddy White.  That same number was also the most ever allowed to one player by the Packers in their franchise's history, breaking the mark set by Detroit Lions All-Pro Calvin Johnson.  For the season, Jones is now at 1,169 yards receiving, also a franchise record for the Falcons. He has also gone over 100 yards receiving in 6 games this season.  All of those stats come just 13 games into the season.

There was a down note as well though.  Jones was not in on the Falcons' final drive as he suffered a hip injury.  How this affects him for the remainder of the season waits to be seen.

Julio Jones remains extremely popular with Alabama fans, and aside from those who also happen to be Saints fans, many are still rooting for him today.  If his hip injury doesn't set him back, Jones could add a lot to his already historic year.
