Ken "Snake" Stabler is without doubt one of the best to ever step foot on the field in Bryant-Denny and is currently being considered for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

With an outstanding career at Alabama and then a fourteen year stint in the NFL, which includes a Super Bowl win, Stabler could very well be one of the best players to ever put on a helmet and pads. It's also fair to say he was a major influence on many current and former players as well as everyday folks like actor Tom Hanks.

Earlier this month, Kendra and Alexa, Stabler's daughters, received a typed letter from Hanks explaining his admiration of their late father.
