Throughout the last two months of the season, Nick Saban and his coaching staff have praised the team mentality that this Alabama football has possessed. Offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin continued this praise on Wednesday when he met with the media.

The second-year assistant coach has worked with some incredibly talented players during his career, but he doesn't think you'll find a team that has bought into the process as much as this squad.

"I can't imagine that there's more of an unselfish team of great players, a lot of NFL players, that are all on one page and one goal, which obviously speaks to Coach Saban," Kiffin said.

Kiffin singled out quarterback Jake Coker and Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Heisman.

"I think it's very difficult now-a-days to have great skill players that are very unselfish," Kiffin said. "I mean it just doesn't happen very often so to have two guys like that in the quarterback and the tailback, that's very unusual. They're never worried about stats.

"To have those two guys, obviously guys that touch the ball more than anybody on your offense, I think does speak volumes of helping Coach Saban's process and what he is about."

The Crimson Tide has averaged 34.4 points per game this season and now face Clemson, which ranks 6th nationally in total defense. This marks the fourth top-10 defense Alabama will have faced this year.
