When you look back at some of the great quarterbacks to come through Alabama you think Ken Stabler and Joe Namath.

Namath's play on the field and his celebrity status off of it made him one of the most memorable players in NFL history.

Former Alabama center Paul Crane was very familiar with being around Namath not only with the Crimson Tide, but won a Super Bowl with Namath in New York for the Jets.

Crane joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to reflect playing with Joe Namath throughout his career, the skill set he had at the quarterback position, helping him adjust to New York, playing under Paul "Bear" Bryant, and discusses the comparisons between Saban and Bryant.

For more of Crane's conversation with Ryan Fowler discussing playing at Alabama and Joe Namath, listen to the interview below the article. For the latest news, breakdown, and conversation with Alabama greats, don't miss The Game with Ryan Fowler weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.
