Another Alabama defender is leaving the program. Exactly one month after safety Shawn Burgess-Becker announced his decision to transfer, linebacker Adonis Thomas has decided to do the same.

The former four-star prospect plans to play at a junior college this fall before transferring to another school, according to AL.com.

Thomas arrived in Tuscaloosa last summer and took a redshirt during his first year on campus. He had been working with the third string at the outside linebacker position during spring camp and faced a lot of competition at his position moving forward.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Thomas was an Under-Armour All-American after playing for Central Gwinnett, and he was recently named to the 2016 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
