We've heard plenty from the crowd that favors pay-for-play or, at minimum, a full cost of attendance stipend for college athletes, but now we're hearing more and more from the NCAA and its president, Mark Emmert.

The governing body of collegiate athletics is trying to take a more proactive approach as the battle rages against the imbalance between the big business of Division I sports and benefits received by the athletes generating all of the revenue.

Emmert's most recent appearance came on The Dan Patrick Show, which airs on Tide 99.1 every weekday from 8-11am, and host Dan Patrick hit on the major topics, from one-and-done's in college basketball to whether or not college football players should receive money (Spoiler: Emmert says he wouldn't want more money if he played).
