Another round of wintry precipitation is in the forecast this week; Tuesday could bring sleet, freezing rain, and snow, while Wednesday could bring significant snowfall for North and Central Alabama.

ABC 33/40 Chief Meteorologist James Spann explains the forecast in further detail in the latest edition of the ABC 33/40 Weather Xtreme video above. James notes that's it is a bit early to offer concrete details on Wednesday's snowfall; however, he shared the following graphic from the Weather Prediction Center on Facebook this morning.
