Whether a gunslinger or a game manager, there is no more important position in football than the quarterback position.

NFL Draft analyst for drafttek.com Kennedy Paynter reviewed the crop of quarterbacks being looked at NFL teams looking for quarterbacks as well as the prospects of prospective NFL quarterbacks around the country including three SEC quarterbacks.

From the SEC, Arkansas’s Brandon Allen, Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott and Alabama’s Jake Coker are looking to make an NFL team.

According to Paynter, Prescott is strong, has good mobility but needs to land with the right team in order to develop as a pro quarterback.

On Arkansas’ Brandon Allen, Panyter thinks that his size is a slightly undersized but has some upside as a back-up quarterback.

For Alabama’s Jake Coker, Paynter believes that Coker’s will have a hard time getting drafted due to his lack of starting experience in college but his physical tools could land him on a team as an undrafted free agent.
