Ryan Kelly, Kenyan Drake Injured in Texas A&M Win

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Two Alabama offensive players were injured during Saturday's 41-23 win over Texas A&M on Saturday.

Both center Ryan Kelly and running back Kenyan Drake left during the first half against the Aggies, but only Drake eventually returned.

Alabama coach Nick Saban addressed the injuries after the game.

"Ryan was a little woozy in the first half," Saban said. "We just decided to hold him out in the second half. I think he'll be OK."

Kelly, a fifth-year senior who has started at center in each of the past three seasons, exited the game early in the second quarter, with sophomore J.C. Hassenauer replacing him at the position following the injury.

Prior to the start of the second half, Saban told CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce that the fifth-year senior had sustained a concussion.

Regarding Drake, Saban said during his postgame press conference that he had a thigh bruise. The senior running back, who eventually returned in the second half, had five carries for 11 yards in the win.
