Alabama continues preparation for its second SEC game of the season this weekend against Kentucky.

The Wildcats enter the game after back-to-back wins but we'll be looking for the school's first victory ever in Tuscaloosa. This will be the 40th meeting between the two teams.

Nick Saban held his Monday press conference to begin game week and began by talking about the team's improvement against Kent State.

"We challenged the players to play a complete game and I think we did a much better job of that in this last game," Saban said. "Now that we're back in SEC play, I think it's time that we build on that, build on the momentum."

The team will have a chance to continue improving consistency against the Wildcats on Saturday before heading into a brutal stretch of SEC games in October. Alabama will have Tony Brown and Johnny Dwight back from suspension, but running back Damien Harris and wide receivers ArDarius Stewart and Robert Foster are still listed as day-to-day.

Saturday's game will also be homecoming with an evening kickoff, which Saban said the players are excited about.

"We're looking forward to homecoming, playing at home. Hopefully we'll have a great crowd that's very enthusiastic and excited about this game. I know our players definitely will be."

Pregame coverage will begin on Tide 102.9 at 1PM with the Tide Tailgate Show presented by Yuengling. That broadcast will take place live from Rounders on the Strip.
