Nick Saban Will Throw Out First Pitch for Alabama Baseball Game Tonight

The Alabama baseball team opens an important series against No. 21 Houston on Friday night and the team will have a special guest throw out the first pitch.

Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban will make an appearance at Sewell-Thomas Stadium and take the mound prior to the start of the game.

Saban's team opens spring practice Friday afternoon so he'll make his way over after talking to reporters at the conclusion of practice.

The Alabama baseball team has opened the season 10-2 behind a strong pitching staff, but this will be the toughest series through the first month of the year. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30PM and can be heard on Tide 99.1.
