Ohio State WR Evan Spencer Explains ‘Wipe the Floor’ Comments One Year Later [VIDEO]

Alabama and Ohio State began meeting with the media on Sunday to discuss the upcoming College Football Playoff semifinal, and Buckeyes' wide receiver Evan Spencer had the opportunity to revisit a comment he made last season.

Much like this year, Ohio State was fighting for a spot in the BCS Championship Game in 2013 but couldn't make up ground on Florida State and Alabama late in the season. That's when Spencer made this comment.

Now the opportunity to back up that statement has arrived and the media didn't miss the opportunity to ask the senior about the upcoming game.

"I guess I was confident in my team then, and I'm confident in them now. And I'm really glad we get to play them," Spencer said.
