The University of Alabama football team held its final practice of the 2017 spring season Thursday afternoon, working in helmets and shorts for roughly two hours outside at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Alabama’s 2017 Golden Flake A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game will be televised live on ESPN for the second year in a row and is free to the public. Joe Tessitore, Joey Galloway and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game from the sidelines with Laura Rutledge providing additional insight.

The game will have a similar format to years past, with the first-team offense and second-team defense being on one team, and the first-team defense and second-team offense on the other.

The format for Saturday's game is much like a normal game, with a few minor variations primarily regarding the game clock. The game will consist of four 15-minute quarters with a running clock. The clock will be stopped only following scoring plays, penalties and changes of possession.

Regular clock rules will be used during the final four minutes of the second quarter and the fourth quarter.
