Travis Reier, Host of "Southern Fried Sports" and senior analyst for BamaOnline, pointed out a few areas of emphasis for Alabama Football Monday morning. Specifying a few position groups that appear weaker than recent Saban-era teams.

Offensively, the big guys up front will be the crucial pieces to replace. Though, both the left and right tackles appear to have a smoother transition, than at center and guards, but as an extension to the line the bigger question may revolve around the depth at tight end.

"With Jonah Williams moving on to the NFL with the first-round pick," Reier said. "Ross Pierschbacher moving on to the NFL as a mid-round pick. You are talking about a couple of guys, that between them gave you a combined seven seasons of starts. Three for Williams, four for Pierschbacher, so in experience alone, taking a step back."

Reier combined the running backs and quarterbacks together as another area of weakness. Mainly since there is change in the range of differing play styles.

"You look at Najee Harris," Reier said. "You look at Tua Tagovailoa, you look at Brian Robinson, and you think well that doesn't look like a weakness to me."

"When you talk about the ability to pound on people and grind out yards," Reier continued. "you're gonna be good there. But you are gonna need a little something different like Josh Jacobs gave you, even Damian Harris to an extent, and that's where Trey Sanders the five-star running back comes in."
