Report: Jameis Winston Will Enter NFL Draft

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has decided to forgo his final two years of eligibility to enter the NFL Draft, according to multiple reports.

The 2013 Heisman Trophy winner has yet to make an official announcement, but his father told ESPN he plans to turn pro.

Winston's career has been rife with success on the field and controversy off. He led the Seminoles to a school-record 29-straight wins after taking over the starting job as a redshirt freshman in 2013. That year, the team won its third national championship and Winston won the school's third Heisman.

Off the field, the Hueytown native dealt with sexual assault allegations for more than a year, heard the autograph signing speculation, and got suspended for yelling obscenities in the Florida State student union.

All of this makes him an intriguing prospect heading into the 2015 NFL Draft. Most scouts and analysts believe he could potentially go No. 1 overall to Tampa Bay, but that very well could depend on how the pre-draft interviews play out.
