Reporter at Jameis Winston Press Conference Asks if Accuser Has Alabama Ties [VIDEO]

State attorney Willie Meggs held a press conference this afternoon to announce that Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston would not be charged with sexual assault.

Many people around the country were flabbergasted by the flippant demeanor that everyone involved in the press conference exhibited.

But the absurdity spilled outside to another press conference with Jameis Winston's lawyer, Tim Jansen. Incredulously, a reporter actually asked the lawyer if the accuser's family had any ties to Alabama. As if the day wasn't disconnected with reality already, one woman made fanatics on both sides of the Alabama-Auburn rivalry gasp at the absurdity of the conspiracy theory that Alabama or its fans would be behind this case returning to the news.

It'll leave you speechless the first time you hear the question, and you'll probably re-watch it over and over expecting to hear something less absurd.
