The Alabama men's basketball team is 5-1 this season with wins over Southern Miss, Arizona State and South Florida all adding to the ever important RPI numbers during out-of-conference play.  Overall, this may be the most offensively aggressive team Anthony Grant has ever assembled during his time as the Tide's head coach.  Nothing shows that more than this incredible alley oop from Ricky Tarrant to Levi Randolph durign Tuesday's game against South Florida.  Having a two-on-one advantage on a fast break, Tarrant flipped the ball off the backboard, allowing Randolph to grab the "rebound" and finish with an electrifying dunk.  The two tried this twice more during the game, but we're unable to finish.  If you missed it live, here's the amazing play that made it to #2 on ESPN SportCenter's Top 10:

In his senior year, Randolph has become the leader of this team and leads Alabama in scoring.  Tarrant, a transfer from Tulane, has provided a major spark to this team both with his offensive execution and his defensive tenacity. Other newcomers such as Justin Coleman and Riley Norris have added depth, and older players like Rodney Cooper and Shannon Hale are picking up the pace after the disapointment of last season.

With games left against Xavier, Wichita State and UCLA, Alabama has plenty of opportunity to shore up their RPI before the start of conference play.
