We've all been there. You duck-hook a shot into the water and get so insanely angry that you want to dump your club into the drink as well, but you're hit with the realization that you can't afford a replacement.

Well, when you're the top-ranked golfer in the world, you have a replacement waiting on you after your round. That made the decision pretty easy for Rory McIlroy on Friday.

After hitting his second shot into the water on the par-5, 8th hole at Doral, golf's top player heaved his iron directly into the lake. McIlroy would go on to card a bogey but finished his round at 2-under. That's good enough to keep him in the top 20 of the WGC-Cadillac Championship heading into the weekend.

The four-time major winner likely had some frustration lingering from his missed cut a week ago at the Honda Classic. His 2015 PGA Tour debut ended in just two short days after shooting 73 and 74 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Despite the recent struggles - by McIlroy's standards - the 25-year-old still owns a win and a second place finish this year on the European Tour.

He should be just fine by the time he arrives at Augusta.
