When the coaches got together for the SEC Spring Meetings this week, the biggest conversation going into those meetings in Destin, FL was allowing grad students to transfer within the conference.

The rule is officially changed and now players are allowed to go to another team in the SEC after they graduate. Alabama OL Brandon Kennedy drove this conversation throughout the off season with his request to transfer to either Tennessee or Auburn.

Nick Saban said during a press conference at the SEC Spring Meetings he wasn't blocking the transfer from happening, but was simply following the rules the SEC has implicated. Now that rule will allow Kennedy to continue his college career as a grad transfer with another team in the conference and could be eligible for the upcoming season without sitting out a year.

Martin Houston, former Alabama fullback and host of The Blitz, joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss the SEC passing the grad transfer rule, what that means for free agency within the conference, will Nick Saban benefit the most from the rule change, and also discuss the rivalry that's developing between Alabama/Georgia.
