The Alabama Crimson Tide return home this weekend after a dominating performance against the Ole Miss Rebels down in Oxford led by Tua Tagovailoa and that Alabama defense. This weekend, Jimbo Fisher and a upstart Texas A&M team comes into town.

Despite one loss on the record it was a close one for the Aggies at home against the Clemson Tigers that some believe could be a playoff team at the end of the season. The Aggies will have another tough match up against the Crimson Tide offense.

Here is who the Tide 102.9/100.9 staff has coming out of Bryant-Denny with the victory between the Crimson Tide and the Aggies.

Martin Houston, Host of The Blitz

The Tua Train rolls again or does it? For the fourth week in a row Alabama’s waiting on a test, will it come in the form of an Aggie? This week on The Blitz we discussed how to stop the Bama Offense.  We had several great answers, but none better than “The Aggies better literally play with a 12th Man." I still don’t believe that will be enough On the other hand, the Bama D has shown that it has come to play at a high level in 2018. Stars developing at every level. Kellen Mond and crew will be shutdown in a big way, with the first dominant performance of Raekwon Davis and the continued dominance of Williams, Thompson and company. Tua shining on 3rd Down, the running back by committee, the 3+ headed monster of receivers and the improving OL gives Bama its 4th straight 50+ game and 4th blowout win.

Coach Fisher is the right guy to bring back the Aggie program. He will try to control the ball more than the Tides other 3 opponents. I look for the Alabama offense to get its first real test. The Alabama defense will will hold the fort early and the offense will pick it up in the 2nd half.

This will be the toughest test for Alabama so far this season. Coach Fisher will bring in confident a team due to his familiarity with Coach Saban and big games. He will walk away realizing that the Aggies are a few recruiting classes away.

How dominant has top ranked Alabama been through the first three games this season? Consider that Texas A&M is ranked 22nd and took Clemson down to the wire and Bama is still a 27 point favorite this weekend. That says it all! Jimbo Fisher is a terrific coach and the Aggies will bring some top flight athletes to Tuscaloosa on Saturday but there is no slowing down this Alabama locomotive. The Crimson Tide train will roll right over the Aggies at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama won't score 50 points and Tua Tagovailoa will throw an incompletion on third down. It's over. Great run, you guys.

Ryan Fowler, Host of The Game

Texas A&M is bringing some confidence to Tuscaloosa after their performance against Clemson a couple of weeks ago in College Station, Texas.  Alabama is not Clemson and this will provide some evidence that the gap between Alabama and Clemson still exists, just like this past December in New Orleans. Expect Alabama’s starting offense to play the majority of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters. However, I expect junior back-up Quarterback, Jalen Hurts will get some quality reps against Texas A&M late in the football game on Saturday afternoon. This will help him in his development in becoming a better quarterback. Tua Tagovailoa’s show continues to draw a big interest from people outside of Alabama and the SEC audience.  Last week, several legendary NFL players took to social networks to show their approval of the young quarterback’s early performance in the 2018 season. Look for Alabama’s defense to continue to improve with another challenge this week, I think they will have a solid day against Mond and company.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are just too much on the offensive side of the field to be slowed down. I think Texas A&M has a good offense led by quarterback Kellen Mond. But after watching how the secondary and defense stopped Ole Miss' passing game, I don't think the Aggies have enough on offense to keep up with the Crimson Tide.

Alabama has surpassed expectations three straight weeks and the bar continues to rise on what this team can accomplish in 2018. Stop me if you’ve heard this before: this will be Alabama’s biggest test to date. Seriously though, this might be the last test until November so Alabama should be focused on the task at hand. Texas A&M might be able to confuse the Tide’s defense some with its multiple looks but I expect Nick Saban and Tosh Lupoi to have this group ready to go on Saturday. And until someone slows down this offense, I can’t pick against Alabama or the point spread.

No team has been able to contain Tua and Alabama's explosive offense through three games and it will continue against the Aggies. Not to be outdone, don't be surprised if the Crimson Tide defense can add another non-offensive score in the game.

Jimbo Fisher gave Dabo Sweeney a run for his money in College Station, but he has a tougher fight in store this weekend. Heading to Tuscaloosa squaring-off against Nick Saban in Alabama's SEC home opener. Offensive Coordinator Mike Locksley has showcased his multi-talented offense. Rolling over teams behind a composed Tua Tagovailoa. We've all heard about how Tagovailoa has preformed on third downs. Finishing drives is just one reason the Tide has averaged 57 points per game. Another factor has been the Tide's defense. Who have only given up four touchdowns, while forcing 25 punts in just three games. The more opportunities you give Locksley's offense, the quicker they score. This combination has proven to be lethal.
