The Alabama Crimson Tide is potentially set to have its first No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick since 1948 in left tackle Evan Neal. As a prospect who's destined to be taken highly in April's draft, he's decided to forgo participating in the NFL Scouting Combine drills.

While this system has allowed prospects that may have gotten lost in the shuffle at the combine to shine, the overall experience has been nothing short of disappointing.

Alabama sent 10 players to Indianapolis to participate in the NFL Combine. The players submitted themselves to a medical assessment, body measurements and interviews with the media. The wide receivers have already participated in a skills showcase while the defenders will participate throughout the weekend.

Alabama will be well represented at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis at the end of the month. The combine will be held from February 23 to March 2, it is an opportunity for the draft eligible players to meet with all 32 NFL teams, receive a medical checkup and participate in physical drills to show off their tools. 10 Alabama players have received invitations to participate in the annual combine.
