Super Bowl 50 is going down Sunday, and it's going to be an epic match-up between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. We get to see two legendary SEC QB's face each other in the biggest pro football game of the year. It's going to be awesome--but I'm going to be 100% honest with y'all here: I can't wait to watch the game, but I'm just as excited to watch the commercials.
From what I'm reading, a few people are totally with me in saying that most of the commercials during the 2015 Super Bowl fell short when compared to year's past.
‘Breaking Bad’ may be completely, definitively over, but that doesn’t mean Walter White is ready to leave popular culture alone. Oh, no. As long as Bryan Cranston is alive and as lone as insurance companies are prepared to back dump trucks full of cash up this house, we’ll get to see America’s favorite meth dealer pop up every so often. So while it’s weird to se Cranston play Heisenberg one more time in an Esurance commercial, it’s not that surprising.
‘Ted 2’ may have the most relevant Super Bowl trailer there is, mostly because it features a cameo from one of the players actually playing in the Super Bowl. The movie features a cameo from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and he makes an appearance in this new ad.
Sure, the Super Bowl will feature the best the NFL has to offer on the field, but, come on, let's be honest: you're going to watch for the commercials.
