Tennessee – Virginia Tech Will Meet in the ‘Battle at Bristol’ in 2016 [VIDEO]

A news conference was held on Monday at the Bristol Motor Speedway to announce that Tennessee and Virginia Tech have agreed to play a college football game inside the historic NASCAR track.

Officials from both schools were present when the 'Battle at Bristol' was officially introduced, nearly a week after the word of this matchup first leaked. Although the game is nearly three years away, the hype machine is already up and running. During the news conference, officials debuted a new video promoting the rivalry as well as an artist's rendering of how the football setup will look.
