As Nick Saban enters his 12th season as the Crimson Tide's head coach, the West Virginia native has the opportunity to equal Paul "Bear" Bryant's six national champions at Alabama and surpass him with a possible seventh national title in his coaching career.

In a recent feature in Saturday Down South, Al Blanton examined the "DNA of a Dynasty" involving Saban's incredible run of success in Tuscaloosa.

During Wednesday's appearances on The Gary Harris Show, Blanton further examined the various aspects of Saban's dominance in college football since his arrival in 2007.

The Saturday Down South contributor began his look at Saban's dynasty by recalling Alabama's struggles in the seasons prior to 2007 including the aftermath of a loss in 2006 to Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa.

Blanton also detailed a primary ingredient in Saban's "Process", the pivotal moments in establishing the identity of Alabama football under Saban and how the 2008 and 2009 teams paved the way for the Crimson Tide's present run of dominance in college football.

At the end of the conversation, he describes how Saban's eventual successors could learn from the present dynasty in Tuscaloosa.
