Three SEC Teams Ranked in College Basketball Preseason Top 25
A new look SEC will begin with a familiar start in the preseason polls. The first AP Top 25 was released on Monday and just three conference teams are ranked to start the year.
Kentucky, as expected, leads the way at No. 2, while Vanderbilt is ranked No. 18 and LSU is No. 21. It appears to be a very top-heavy year once again in the SEC as just one other team even received votes (Texas A&M).
North Carolina sits atop the preseason poll after receiving 35 first-place votes.
