Four Crimson Tide players were named as Associated Press All Americans today, with Cyrus Kouandjio and C.J. Mosley taking home 1st team honors. HaHa Clinton-Dix was the lone Crimson Tide player on the 2nd team, while A.J. McCarron was the 3rd team QB.

McCarron recently won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the winner of the Maxwell Award, which is annually given to college football's most outstanding player. Not only has he won these awards, but his career has been nothing short of incredible.

Jameis Winston was named the first team All American quarterback, and Johnny Manziel was awarded as the 2nd team quarterback.

Many people are up in arms about the selection of award winners and All American placement this season. Florida State fans complained about McCarron taking home the Maxwell while not being named as a 1st team All American, much less not being named the 1st team quarterback of the SEC.

So is McCarron getting snubbed by not receiving enough accolades, or is he getting sympathy votes from some voters for playing in an era of great college quarterbacks?
