The first two-a-day practice of Alabama’s 2013 fall camp got underway on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. with a roughly two-hour practice at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields in full pads. The Crimson Tide’s second practice of the day is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The morning workout took place under sunny skies with hot and humid conditions. It is the sixth practice of camp for the preseason No. 1 Alabama football team that has won three of the last four national championships.

Following Wednesday’s two-a-day practice, the Tide will then hold a single workout on Thursday followed by the second two-a-day practice on Friday with the first scrimmage slated for practice No. 11 on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
