The conversation about wardrobe spilled over from Oscars Sunday and into Monday but for an entirely different reason. The U.S. Men's National Team sent a picture out on Twitter revealing the team's home jersey for the upcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The reaction on social media wasn't too kind. Most people have voiced disappointment over the design being so generic and simple. There is no sash across the chest or bold stripes symbolizing the American flag like previous national team kits.

Here are some of the opinions we enjoyed on Twitter:

The jersey won't be as plain as it looks at first site. The innovators at Nike have added a 'One Nation. One Team.' logo underneath the name on the back of the jersey. While it's a pretty cool idea, the detail requires UV light in order to see it so that will never be seen during on the pitch in Brazil.

What do you think about the new US Soccer jerseys?
