After missing two games with an ankle injury, Alabama linebacker Anfernee Jennings returned to the field to record his first two tackles of the season on Saturday.

The redshirt sophomore, who suffered the injury in the season opener against Florida State, said he had a lot of help getting back in such a short time.

"It felt good," Jennings said. "I gotta thank the training staff. They really pushed me and had me doing a lot of rehab and had me ready to go for Saturday."

Alabama lost four linebackers in the first game and have relied on some of the younger players to step up and fill the holes.

"It was unfortunate that we all got hurt like that but the young guys, that had a little experience going into the season, they stepped up and did a great job playing to the Bama standard."
