Despite the Alabama Crimson Tide coming off another national championship, they still head into the 2018 season with a huge chip on their shoulder.

Of course this chip isn't coming from anyone in the facilities of Tuscaloosa, but when you look at the recent coaching turnover on Nick Saban's staff and a ton of talent leaving for the NFL Draft, especially in the secondary, you have to wonder what 2018 will look like for the Crimson Tide.

Coach Saban has been one of the best coaches in college football in adjusting his team and building a successful program despite the moving pieces in the staff. But as the teams inside and outside get tougher, is there going to be a new top team in college football?

ESPN College Football analyst Brad Edwards joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss where Alabama ranks among the other teams in college football heading into spring practice and Alabama having to replace half of their staff.

For more of Edwards analysis on the Alabama Crimson Tide as they head into spring practice in a couple of weeks, make sure you watch the video above the article. Don't miss The Game with Ryan Fowler weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.
