The nation's top dual-threat quarterback and Alabama commit is off to a fast start in his senior season. Tua Tagovailoa, a five-star prospect from Hawaii, scored nine total touchdowns in week three to help move his team to 3-0 on the year.

As you can see in the video above, Tagovailoa used his legs and his arm to account for 54 total points for St. Louis High School. The game would end in a 64-44 shootout victory over Punahou.

These highlights give you a good indication of why Tagovailoa has made a big jump up the rankings since the end of his junior season. The lefty stood out during summer camps and took home the MVP award at the the Elite 11 competition. He's jumped all the way up to 32nd nationally in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Alabama's 2017 recruiting class sits second nationally behind Ohio State. Nick Saban and his staff have already pulled in 21 total commitments with nearly five months remaining until National Signing Day.
