KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Alabama scored a lot to begin the game and enough at the end to hand Tennessee its eighth straight loss in the rivalry series Saturday night.

Amari Cooper races down the sideline for an 80-yard touchdown on a Blake Sims pass on Alabama's first play from scrimmage.

Cooper does it again, this time on a 41-yard touchdown pass from Sims. By the end of the first quarter alone, he had five catches for 185 yards and two touchdowns.

T.J. Yeldon adds a third Alabama touchdown in the first quarter on a 1-yard run. (For press box angle, click here.)

Sims also ran for a touchdown of his own, a 28-yarder to put the Crimson Tide up 27-0 in the second quarter.

Quarterback Joshua Dobbs, who entered the game on Tennessee's third drive, threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Josh Malone for the Vols' first points of the game in the second quarter. (For press box angle, click here.)

Aaron Medley kicked a 27-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to make it a 27-10 game at halftime.

Dobbs connected with Von Pearson for his second 9-yard touchdown pass of the game, nearing the end of the third quarter.

But Alabama responded on Derrick Henry's 28-yard touchdown run with 13 seconds remaining before the fourth quarter to put Alabama back up by 17 at 34-17.

Sims fumbled on a botched handoff deep in Alabama territory, allowing for Medley to kick a 24-yard field goal -- his second of the game -- with 9:42 left in the game.
