Playoff spots are starting to be clinched in the state of Alabama, and the next two weeks will decide who makes it to the postseason. Check out the action this week in West Alabama, and see how the drama will unfold.

Tuscaloosa County High will take on Vestavia Hills on Friday night in a defacto playoff game in 7A Region 3, as the winner will clinch a spot in the top four of the region. County High boasts a 3-3 record in the region, after taking down the Thompson Wildcats last week 10-0, and Vestavia Hills comes in at 2-4 in region play. Vestavia Hills must win if they have hopes of making the playoffs, but if County High loses, they need a lot of help in order for them to finish fourth in the region and sealing a spot in the postseason.

The Northridge Jaguars and Selma Saints will do battle to see who gets the last seat at the postseason table in 6A Region 4. Both teams come in at 2-3 in the region, and both teams are tied for fourth place in the region as well. The action will also take place on Friday night.
